Artists Bio

Andrew Hunter aka AD1970 is a photographic/traditional based artist self taught from the moment he picked up a pencil . Having started out in using charcoal watercolors and pastel Andrew then went over to using a graphic tablet and pen this

He had been drawing and painting by hand for a good number of years using a computer to create art first came about between 1997/99. As well as being an artist Andrew is a keen photographer too and has been taking pictures since the age of 15 seems this got passed down from his father

Today Andrew uses a Digital SLR every photo he takes either get turned into art or used to build up is own image stock library. Andrew's main areas of specialism are digital darkroom and photomanipulations ,he loves the outdoors and enjoys being surrounded by nature His interests are art music films and technology he also likes artists such as Turner,Constable Van Gogh and Picasso Andrew also belongs to two photographic societies as a member for nature/wildlife industrial and commerical
